Conditions and Terms:
Health and Nutrition: Buyer agrees to keep the dog in good physical condition with regularly scheduled vaccines, deworming, flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. The buyer also agrees to provide shelter, exercise, freshwater, dog food, pet care products and nutritional supplements as described in this agreement. We feed Nutrisouce products and advise you to keep your puppy on this for the first year.
Guarantees: We do our absolute best to ensure that your puppy is in good health at the time he/she comes home to you. If your new puppy should die within 72 hours after you take him/her home, we will give you a full refund (not including shipping costs) if the death is based on the health of your puppy. We do not give a refund, at any time, if your puppy eats any hazardous plants, food, objects, medicine, poisons, gets hit by a vehicle, or runs away. If your puppy should die within the first year of life from a genetic based reason, you are required to provide written documentation by your DVM to our DVM (Dr. Lyle Mattson), stating the genetic condition. A replacement puppy of your choice (same value) will be issued. Under no circumstances will we pay and vet bills you incur. This puppy must be seen within 48 hours by a licensed DVM for this warranty to be applied. You will receive in your puppy packet a complete health record and a Vet Certificate of Health for your DVM to review.
This guarantee does not cover any worms or parasites, as worms are very common and your puppy has been wormed prior to going to your home. This guarantee does not cover costs associated with spaying or neutering, nor does it cover injury or death from any routine surgical procedure. Further, this guarantee does not cover any of the following conditions or minor flaws including: coccidiosis, giardia, hypoglycemia, kennel cough, pneumonia, ear mites, ear infections, skin mites, mange (sarcoptic demodectic or cheyletiella), cherry eye or any other non life-threatening eye issues, skin or tissue issues, allergies, over or under bites, herniation, a non life-threatening open frontanel, non life-threatening bone or joint disorders such as but not limited to luxating patella and heart murmurs that are not life threatening.
Any exam performed by a DMV belonging to the Banfield network (Petsmart/Petco) will VOID this guarantee in its entirety. Should your vet find the puppy "unfit" for sale upon the examination, it will be replaced provided the puppy is returned with a written statement from the DMV stating the nature of their findings. Northern Lights Doodles also has the right to have our DMV check the puppy prior to any exchange. It is the Buyer's responsibility to return the puppy along with all registration papers and other package contents. Seller shall not be responsible for medical expenses that the Buyer has incurred.
Northern Lights Doodles cannot guarantee size, color, temperament, coat quality, shedding or non-shedding coats, or fertility (including presence of testicles) of any puppy.
The Seller will not guarantee the Leptospirosis vaccine due to its many adverse side effects. If the Buyer gives the vaccine, the Seller has no responsibility to pay for adverse reactions or problems that could be associated with the vaccine, even if not proven.
If the Buyer complies with all terms contained within this agreement, then the Seller warrants the health of the puppy for one (1) year of life against genetic life-threatening genetic defects. In the event that the original Buyer sells this puppy, the warranty is void. The warranty does not transfer to anyone.
This document is a legally binding contract. There are no other warranties, expressed or implied, except as contained herein. By signing the documents provided the buyer acknowledges that he/she has read and understands all guarantees. This puppy is sold without breeding rights. The Seller and the Buyer mutually agree that these printed documents are the total conditions and both mutually abide by them.
